The reason for the overwhelmingness is pretty clear, and it's the Giant Chibi Project. Though I regret that it's my most popular thing and that it has scared me away from this place for three years I don't regret the essence of the thing. I did it for a good reason...I wanted to do something for a bunch of people who supported and inspired me. That's really what stopped me from deleting it or putting it in storage...it isn't for me, it's for other people.
So, on that note, I'm shuffling over to a new account (one which is chibi free
). Even when I was active I had considered moving, mainly because god I chose a dumb username (though Aphrael is still awesome, but seriously, I couldn't come up with anything else? I had to add a number?). I came here with the idea that on the internet you had to have an alias...I came here with dial up internet too, so that's something. I desperately didn't want to be Zoe, I wanted a cool internet name like so many other people had. I'm happy to leave that behind now. I'm good with what I've got.Moving'll let me get back on top of things and it'll hopefully dissuade people who are only watching in the hope that I'll go mad again and decide to do more free chibis. That hopefully means that I'll have more time to talk to you excellent chaps, without feeling terribly guilty. There are people here who mean a hell of a lot to me, and even if I haven't been in touch I've been thinking of you guys. You're definitely more than just people I've met, sod the Rimmer!quote.
