Feathered Lizard again

I drew this AGES ago...before STUVAC, while I was on my Sara Douglass fanart high. He was meant to be in the series with my SpikeFeather and StarDrifter pictures, but he doesn't really fit because I used too many colours.

Anyway I really like how he turned out. For those who don't know *passes you Sara Douglass books* this is the feathered lizard. He is truely awesome, he's so damn cute all the time in the books. I imagine him as he is on the cover of the Australian version of Pilgrim, drawn by Shaun Tan, so this technically isn't my design. I don't like the American version nearly as much, he looks like a feathery dimetrodon.
